Sanderson Wallpaper
Arthur Sanderson started his business in 1860 importing and selling wallpaper. Throughout its long history, Sanderson Wallpaper has continued to produce wallcoverings to suit the style of the times. The range today includes bold stylised florals, classic English chintzes, plain textures, smart stripes, trellises and small-scale motifs which are printed in the UK. A variety of collections include the Emma Bridgewater wallpapers inspired by her English pottery, followed by Fabienne wallpapers with a look of French interiors, as well as their first kids wallpaper collection Abracazoo wallpapers. In 2016 Sanderson Woodland Walk was launched and was well received. In the AW2016 collection beautiful impressionistic painting style is seen in the Waterperry Wallpapers. While SS2017 saw influences of Persian and Baroque Gardens in their Art of The Garden Wallpapers, and then for the AW17 launch they explore and celebrate their past in the Chiswick Grove collection celebrating a golden era with a timeless and refined country style and bringing some old patterns to life with fresh interpretations. Fast forward to 2018 inspired by sketches of idyllic hideaways, the Embleton Bay range shows how to effortlessly blends the peace and serenity of the British coastline with the harmony of nature. Further exploration of the coastal living and the English seaside comes with their Sanderson Port Isaac Wallpapers which showcases a collection of 10 delightful wallpapers each with a relaxed and charming feel. They further their roots into all thing’s country late in 2018 with the new collection of Sanderson Elysian Wallpapers which was inspired by ancient woodlands, native wildlife and rare and beautiful plants. Glasshouse wallpapers in 2019 explores the botanical theme and designed to showcase the undeniable beauty of the original plant or flower.
