Made by Mathias Kiss. A follow-up to his research into folding and the deformation of rigid materials, this collaboration with Pierre Frey was initiated by the magazine "Wallpaper" and reflects the personal work of the artist by linking one of his painted marbles to wallpaper. He designed and painted marble with oil paint, a technique that he learned during his apprenticeship with the Compagnons. The motif symbolizes the origin of marble, the quarry, the rough stone, the material ... and its application in furniture.
