Product details
Christian Astuguevieille has reinvented this iconic fabric designed by Jean-Baptiste Huet and is in our archives. It was printed in 1803 at the Oberkampf factory in Jouy-en-Josas using the copper plate technique. The scale of the design has been changed and the original grid in the background has been replaced by flat areas of color in the artist's own hues. A contemporary approach thus reinforces the neoclassical motif.
