Product details
Christian Astuguevieille has reimagined this iconic fabric designed by Jean-Baptiste Huet, which is housed in our archives. It was printed in 1803 at the Oberkampf manufactory in Jouy-en-Josas using the copperplate technique. The design's scale has been altered, and the original latticework on the background has been replaced by flat areas of color in the artist's own shades. A contemporary approach thus enhances the Neoclassical motif.
