Product details
A typical historical damask, whose design source was originally a woven silk from the 19th century. This effect is now imitated by the printing technique. As with the 'High Street' design from the London Wallpapers III collection, three examples of this pattern are known from multiple locations, which makes it likely that it was produced on a fairly significant scale from the 18th century to the late 1800s. 19th century. This corresponds to the production capabilities of the wallpaper industry in that period.
