Product details
The Pierre Frey Ispahan wallpaper shows a pattern of the so-called damascene rose. The roses on the wallpaper appear to be made of fabric and are placed on a plain high-gloss background. The wallpaper is inspired by a wall panel with floral decoration (© RMN), from the mausoleum of the Ottoman sultan Selim II, circa 1577 in Istanbul. The original document can be admired in the Louvre.
