Leaf wallpaper has a pattern that resembles the leaves of the ginko biloba, the Japanese walnut tree. With the two leaf halves, the orientation of the fabric has been turned differently, so that you now see thicker or thinner threads on the left and then on the right. Depending on the incidence of light, the shades also change: from green-ocher and gold to brown, for example, from lighter to darker blue, from brown to black. Fascinating.
