Product details
Reproduction of a wall painting dated from the beginning of the XVIIIth dynasty representing the shores of the Nile and its luxuriance. On this fragment, birds fly away from a bunch of papyrus suddenly disturbed by the genet and the ichneumon. We also recognize a hoopoe, ducks, an owl, a heron and even butterflies. The printing on a fibrous non-woven fabric gives the drawing depth and substance. Discovered in Thebes, this work on silt is kept in the Department of Egyptian Antiquities of the Louvre.
