Ponza is famous for its jagged shores, rich in rocks and cliffs overlooking the sea. Located not too far from Rome, it was chosen as the location for some patricians’ villas, defined by a geometric and austere look reflecting the harsh nature of the island. The strong presence of squared lines is replicated also on the wallcovering, showing a deconstructed checkered design in many color variations on a linen gauze background.
