Ewa is a wallpaper with gracefully hand-painted cornflower garlands. In the Gustavian era, the cornflower was a favorite cut flower. The feature of the pattern reminds us of the white and blue Chinese porcelain of the Dutch East India Company, which was high fashion in the 18th century and has since become a much-loved classic.
