The ARTE Leaf wallpaper has a pattern that resembles the leaf of the ginko biloba, the Japanese walnut tree. With the two leaf halves, the weave direction is turned differently, so that you sometimes see thicker or thinner threads on the left, then on the right. Depending on the incidence of light, the shades also change: from greenish ocher and gold to brown, for example, from lighter to darker blue, from brown to black. Fascinating.
